April 17 2025 This is the view from the drivers seat.. there is a lot of things the the driver must be aware of with the chains and lines.

April 16 2025 Here I am trying out my vertical tillage machine which seems to be working very well

April 17 2025 Jim, Duke and ginger doing a great job of discing the oats field This was very successful

April 6 2025, Here I am spreading Boron which was lacking in the oats field. I also spread Sulfur with the horses. I did do some plowing with the horses to get started but soon switch to the tractor plowing.

This year the weather was very cold and as I see it killed a lot of weeds that had germinated in the fall.

Nov 30 2024. Despite my efforts at weed control my harvest was very poor.

I again tried in September and thought I had the weeds in control but there are lots of weeds..My oats for 2024 was a disaster which I attribute to the very warm weather in January 2024 which germinated lots of weeds.

May 23 2024 oats coming up

May 15 2024 I tine weeded the oats.

May 13 the oats are up

May 2 2024, I plowed up a pasture and planted more oats as I was not happy with the previous planting with too many weeds.

March 12 2024. in an effort to delay the weeds I tine weeded the oats field with Jim, Ginger and Duke.

March 1 2024 I planted the oats with the tractor.

Feb 11 2024 I plowed my field to start my oats. Yes it was unusually warm at this time of year.
